After getting my feedback and looking further into my work I have changed a lot; this includes the beginning and ending, it now starts off with a transition which states we're in the past by 9 years, this is the scene in 'Ollie's house', this includes the low lighting and grungey view which represents a scare theme. After this scene, where it ends with a zoom in of the girl staring at the camera, we get introduced to a transition telling us we are now in the 'present day'. A new character, Ross, is in a library looking at books on 'Law' where he comes across a picture of the girl from the last scene; it has a note on the back saying 'Town hall, midnight tonight'. We get a subliminal image of the girl flash in and a reaction shot of Ross dropping the book and leaving, we get a close up of the book and picture on the floor and then it then ends.
This then tells us the rest of the film would go on to show whether Ross went to the town hall and what happens when he did or if he didn't and someone else did, whatever happens afterwards I have left to be answered.
The last scene has been shot with a HD camera, this has been done to show the change in time period, the first scene being all grungey and pixalated, to a sharp, bright lighting shot which contrasts with the time difference of the first scene.
Also because of the change in plot it lead me to a change of title, 'Other way round' didn't work anymore because its not based around the scary movie happening to them so instead 'Legacy' seemed to work well...
Definition of 'Legacy'
'An amount of money or property left to someone in a will'
This is like this in the sense of the picture being left in a book on 'Law' for someone to recieve nine years down the line. So my film title iws now 'Legacy'.
